Vinodkumar Damodaran is a seasoned trainer, Organizational Development (OD) consultant, and business coach, with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in soft skills training, business development, and customer relationship management, consulting for management institutes and private corporations both in India and abroad.
He is a faculty member at various government training institutes, including the Institute of Management in Government, and has worked with leading organizations such as Tata Consultancy Services, ARS T&TT Federal Bank, Hindustan Latex Limited Management Academy, Akshaya Project (State Government), SFS Homes, Canara Bank, Milma, TRIDA, KASE, BBPI, Matsyafed, UST Global, Nest Digital, Central & State Academy of Statistics, ODEPEC, KITTS, and others.
Vinod has also contributed to national initiatives like CCTNS, a project for police departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs, as well as to CDAC’s senior management training programs across India. He has been retained by several governmental agencies, including Kerala’s Postal Department and SIEMAT, for training senior managers and government officers. Furthermore, Vinod is a faculty member at ACSTI, providing training for the staff of Kerala’s cooperative department, and has served as a master trainer for REACH (Division of KSWDC, Government of Kerala).
He has successfully trained more than 30 batches of trainers for ASAP and conducted skill development programs for numerous colleges, including the College of Engineering Trivandrum. Additionally, Vinod has conducted corporate training programs across the Middle East
He has done OD programs for many organizations, helping them improve their operational efficiency, align strategies, and enhance overall performance.
As an expert in designing and implementing business solutions, Vinod excels at formulating training programs that drive business growth. His core competencies include business skill coaching, soft skills training, and strategic planning. Drawing from his extensive corporate experience, he provides actionable solutions tailored to client needs.
Vinod’s previous experience includes his role as Training Manager at ING, where he established and enhanced training programs. He has also collaborated with major organizations like HDFC Life, IndusInd Bank, Modi-Xerox, and others.
Vinod holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management, and a Diploma in General Management. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctoral studies. He has attended several advanced skill development programs in India, Europe, Australia, the UK, Singapore, Japan, and the Middle East.
